Transforming the Processing of Critical & Strategic Minerals

Traditional metal processing relies on high-energy methods that emit significant greenhouse gases, require costly infrastructure, and generate waste.

Perfect Metals has developed a groundbreaking low-temperature hydrodynamic electrolysis solution to produce high-purity metal powders directly from ores, concentrates, or mining waste at just 50–70°C, significantly cutting energy use and minimising waste.

Our solution eliminates multiple production stages—including roasting, smelting, refining, and atomization—by completing the process in a single production line.

Modular plants can be deployed near mining sites, bypassing various jurisdictions, ensuring geopolitical security for critical metal off-takers.

Strategic Alliance: Perfect Metals and Perfekt S.A.

Perfect Metals Pty Ltd and Perfekt S.A. have formed a strategic alliance to revolutionize critical mineral processing through cutting-edge technology and the development of next-generation processing plants. The alliance combines 3 key capabilities:

  • chemical: development of chemical processes at our own lab;
  • mechanical: team of skilled mechanical engineers and own manufacturing plant allows us to develop and build an entire plant and its elements in-house;

  • automation: our automation team automates the process and develops most efficient software solutions.

A Legacy of Innovation

Since its founding in 2002, Perfekt S.A. has been at the forefront of innovation, delivering tailored solutions that meet the evolving demands of industry. Through years of developing industrial prototypes, Perfekt built a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical and software design, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning.

In 2016, Perfekt expanded into electrochemistry, establishing a state-of-the-art chemical laboratory and bringing together world-class chemists. By integrating chemical technology with automation and mechanical engineering, the company created a unique value proposition.

With a strong background in electrochemistry, Perfekt shifted its focus from green hydrogen and other electrochemical technologies to the high-value and rapidly growing field of critical minerals processing. Leveraging the same core principles—low-temperature electrolysis—the company pioneered a novel type of electrolyser, leading to the construction and validation of the first fully functional demonstration plant, successfully producing high-purity metal powders.

Building a Global Network of Modular Processing Plants

Recognizing Perfekt’s groundbreaking achievements in mineral processing, Perfect Metals Pty Ltd acquired its entire intellectual property and has been advancing the technology to establish a global network of modular processing plants.

Perfect Metals has further enhanced the unique hydrodynamic low-temperature electrolyser, enabling metal powder production directly within the electrolyser itself. Through the development of advanced chemical processes, automation of electrolysers, proprietary potentiostatic power supplies, innovative software, graphite-free electrodes, membrane technologies, and other key system components, Perfect Metals has created a revolutionary combination of novel technology with the capability to design, build, and operate next-generation mineral processing plants.

Client porfolio and recognition

Over the years, Perfekt's expertise has earned the trust of Tier 1 and blue-chip clients, including Mahle, 3M, Pratt & Whitney, Total, Amazon, VW, and many others. Their continued confidence in our capabilities has fueled our growth, enabling us to expand our team and take on increasingly ambitious projects.

Our commitment to innovation has also been recognized and supported by leading scientific institutions. Key milestones include the development of a driving simulator for disabled individuals in 2016 and winning the 2017 Innorecycling competition for our groundbreaking chrome electrowinning/electro-harvesting technology. In 2024 we were awarded an 80% subsidy, valued at over 5M EUR to develop our own vanadium-free flow batteries for more efficient decarbonisation of critical minerals processing.
